Love Burns

Grahame Koehne’s opera premiered at 1992’s Adelaide Festival, directed by Neil Armfield. The libretto, by playwright Louis Nowra, has its basis in fact, inspired by the true 1940s story of Raymond Fernandez and Martha Beck who were known as the ‘Lonely Hearts Killers’.
